| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for collection of fees and fines |
3 | and for slot machine licensee deposits. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 1208 of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read: |
8 | § 1208. Collection of fees and fines. |
9 | The board has the following powers and duties: |

11 | (3) To require each slot machine licensee to collect a |
12 | $2 per patron admission fee which shall be transmitted weekly |
13 | by the slot machine licensee to the State Treasurer for |
14 | deposit into the slot machine licensee's account established |
15 | under section 1401 (relating to slot machine licensee |
16 | deposits). |
17 | Section 2. Section 1401 of Title 4 is amended by adding a |
18 | subsection to read: |

3 | (e) Transfer.--The State Treasurer shall, on a monthly |
4 | basis, transfer the admission fee established under section |
5 | 1208(3) (relating to collection of fines and fees) as follows: |
6 | (1) Fifty percent to the State Employees' Retirement |
7 | System for the use of satisfying mandatory contributions by |
8 | the Commonwealth under 71 Pa.C.S. § 5507 (relating to |
9 | contributions by the Commonwealth and other employers). |
10 | (2) Fifty percent to the Public School Employees' |
11 | Retirement System for the use of satisfying mandatory |
12 | contributions by the Commonwealth under 24 Pa.C.S. § 8326 |
13 | (relating to contributions by the Commonwealth). |
14 | Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
