| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, providing for passenger safety for individuals with |
3 | developmental disabilities. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Chapter 80 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subchapter to read: |
8 | SUBCHAPTER B |
9 | PASSENGER SAFETY FOR INDIVIDUALS |
10 | WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES |
11 | Sec. |
12 | 8010. Passenger safety for individuals with developmental |
13 | disabilities. |
14 | § 8010. Passenger safety for individuals with developmental |
15 | disabilities. |
16 | The department shall promulgate regulations to establish |
17 | standards for the transportation of individuals with |
18 | developmental disabilities, including, but not limited to, the |

2 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
