| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for qualifications and |
3 | restrictions of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board members. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 1201(h) of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read: |
8 | § 1201. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board established. |

10 | (h) Qualifications and restrictions.-- |
11 | * * * |
12 | (9.1) No member may: |
13 | (i) be an applicant or former applicant; |
14 | (ii) be a principal of a licensed facility or | <-- |
15 | licensed entity; or |
16 | (iii) have any ownership control in any affiliate, |

1 | intermediary, subsidiary or holding company thereof. |

3 | Section 2. The addition of 4 Pa.C.S. § 1201(h)(9.1) shall |
4 | apply to members elected on or after the effective date of this | <-- |
5 | section. not apply to any of the following: | <-- |
6 | (1) An individual appointed to the board before July 1, |
7 | 2010. |
8 | (2) An individual under paragraph (1) who is reappointed |
9 | to the board. |
10 | Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
