HOUSE BILL

AN ACT

Designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 2011 over

the East Branch of Sideling Hill Creek, Monroe Township,

Bedford County, as the Donald H. Clark Memorial Bridge.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Donald H. Clark Memorial Bridge.

(a)  Declaration of policy.--The General Assembly finds and

declares as follows:

(1)  Mr. Clark, who had a genuine concern for the

motoring public, was the primary force behind achieving the

replacement of the former curved Robinsonville Bridge, a

dangerous, old one-lane bridge.

(2)  Mr. Clark, who died May 26, 2010, did not live to

see the completed new bridge.

(b)  Designation.--The bridge located on State Route 2011 in

Monroe Township, Bedford County, over the East Branch of

Sideling Hill Creek is hereby designated the Donald H. Clark

Memorial Bridge.

(c)  Signs.–-The Department of Transportation shall erect and

maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to

traffic in both directions on the bridge.

Section 2.  Effective date.

This act shall take effect in 60 days.
