AN ACT

Making an appropriation to the Department of Conservation and

Natural Resources for the purpose of maintaining service at

Presque Isle State Park.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Appropriation.

(a)  Finding.--The purpose of this legislation is to provide

for the continuing operation of Presque Isle State Park in the

event of a budget impasse.

(b)  Appropriation.--The sum of $1,288,000, or as much

thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the

Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the fiscal

year July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012, for the purpose of

maintaining service to the public at Presque Isle State Park

until September 30, 2011, or until the General Appropriation Act

for fiscal year 2011-2012 is enacted, whichever occurs sooner.

Section 2.  Effective date.

This act shall take effect immediately.
