SENATE BILL

AN ACT

Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An

act "relating to the public school system, including certain

provisions applicable as well to private and parochial

schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the

laws relating thereto," further providing for school district

payments.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 920-A of the act of March 10, 1949

(P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is

amended by adding a subsection to read:

Section 920-A.  School District Payments.--* * *

(c.1)  If a school district desires to independently contract

for purchase of a good or service that is offered by the

intermediate unit, the school district, not later than ten (10)

days following the school district's award of the contract,

shall post on its Internet website a notice stating the

following:

(1)  A description of the good or service being purchased.

(2)  The contract price of the good or service being

purchased.

(3)  The name and street address of the provider of the good

or service being purchased.

(4)  The reason the school district contracted with the

provider of the good or service instead of the intermediate

unit.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 90 days.
