| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending the act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.323, No.130), entitled, |
2 | as amended, "An act relating to counties of the first, third, |
3 | fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth classes; amending, |
4 | revising, consolidating and changing the laws relating |
5 | thereto; relating to imposition of excise taxes by counties, |
6 | including authorizing imposition of an excise tax on the |
7 | rental of motor vehicles by counties of the first class; and |
8 | providing for regional renaissance initiatives," in sheriff |
9 | and coroner, further providing for official records of |
10 | coroner. |
11 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
12 | hereby enacts as follows: |
13 | Section 1. Section 1251 of the act of August 9, 1955 |
14 | (P.L.323, No.130), known as The County Code, is amended to read: |
15 | Section 1251. Official Records of Coroner.--Every coroner, |
16 | within thirty (30) days after the end of each year, shall |
17 | deposit all of his official records and papers for the preceding |
18 | year in the office of the prothonotary for [the inspection of |
19 | all persons interested therein] access according to the |
20 | provisions of the act of February 14, 2008 (P.L.6, No.3), known |
21 | as the Right-to-Know Law. |

1 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
