| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for possession and display of |
3 | licenses. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 2703(a) of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
8 | § 2703. Possession and display of licenses. |
9 | (a) General rule.--No person 16 years of age or older shall |
10 | fish in any of the waters of this Commonwealth or in any |
11 | boundary waters without first procuring the proper license |
12 | required by this chapter. The license shall be kept about the |
13 | person while fishing and shown upon the request of any waterways |
14 | conservation officer or other officer designated by the |
15 | commission. In addition to showing the license to the officer, |
16 | the holder thereof shall, upon demand, establish his further |
17 | identity to the satisfaction of the officer by producing some |
18 | other positive means of identification. The commission may |

1 | promulgate rules and regulations for the displaying of the |
2 | license certificate, license button or other device, as it deems |
3 | necessary, but may not require the display of a license |
4 | certificate on a hat or outer garment while fishing. |
