AN ACT

Amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, in domestic animals, further providing for

3

application.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

6

Section 1.  Section 2380.3 of Title 3 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8

§ 2380.3.  Application.

9

(a)  Form.--An application for licensure, including license

10

renewal, must be made on a form prescribed by the department.

11

(b)  Fee.--An application for a license or for renewal of a

12

license shall be accompanied by a fee of $150. License

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the

<--

14

contrary, license fees collected under this section shall be

15

deposited in the Cervidae Livestock Operation Account, which is

16

established as a restricted account in the State Treasury.

Moneys in the Cervidae Livestock Operation Account are

2

appropriated on a continuing basis to the department for the

3

purpose of administering this chapter subchapter. All interest

4

and earnings received from investment or deposit of the moneys

5

in the Cervidae Livestock Operation Account shall be paid into

6

the account for the purpose authorized by this subsection. Any

7

unexpended moneys and any interest earned or earnings on the

<--

8

money in the Cervidae Livestock Operation Account may not be

9

transferred or revert to the General Fund, but shall remain in

10

the account to be used by the department for the purpose

11

specified in this subsection.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
