                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, repealing provisions relating to pool
     3     and billiard rooms.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 7105 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is repealed:
     8  [§ 7105.  Pool and billiard rooms.
     9     A person is guilty of a summary offense if he, being a
    10  licensed keeper, proprietor, owner or superintendent of any
    11  public poolroom or billiard room except as otherwise provided in
    12  this section for cities of the first class, permits such place
    13  to remain open on Sunday or between the hours of one o'clock
    14  antemeridian and six o'clock antemeridian of any secular day, or
    15  knowingly allows or permits any person under the age of 18 years
    16  to be present in any public poolroom or billiard room, or if he,
    17  being a licensed keeper, proprietor, owner or superintendent of
    18  any public poolroom or billiard room having at least six tables,


     1  in a city of the first class, permits such place to remain open
     2  on Sunday, except between the hours of one o'clock postmeridian
     3  and ten o'clock postmeridian, or knowingly allows or permits any
     4  person under the age of 16 years to be present in any such
     5  public poolroom or billiard room.]
     6     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
