AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Everhart Museum in Scranton for
2 operating expenses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $42,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Everhart Museum in Scranton for the fiscal year July 1, 2007, to
7 June 30, 2008, for operating expenses, including maintenance and
8 the purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Everhart Museum on account of the
10 appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made quarterly by
11 the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum
12 Commission.
13 Section 3. The Everhart Museum shall provide full, complete
14 and accurate information as may be required by the Pennsylvania
15 Historical and Museum Commission or the chairman or the minority
16 chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the
17 chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
1 Committee of the House of Representatives.
2 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007, or
3 immediately, whichever is later.
