AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management
2 Agency for the purpose of funding grants under the act of
3 July 31, 2003 (P.L.73, No.17), known as the Volunteer Fire
4 Company and Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Act.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Appropriation.
8 An amount equal to $25,000,000 shall be appropriated
9 annually, beginning January 2007, from the State Gaming Fund to
10 the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency for the purpose of
11 funding grants under the act of July 31, 2003 (P.L.73, No.17),
12 known as the Volunteer Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance
13 Service Grant Act.
14 Section 2. Effective date.
15 This act shall take effect immediately.
