        REFERRED TO JUDICIARY, MARCH 6, 2007

                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the offense of
     3     dealing in infant children.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4305 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 4305.  Dealing in infant children.
     9     A person is guilty of a [misdemeanor of the first] felony of
    10  the second degree if he deals in humanity, by trading,
    11  bartering, buying, selling, or dealing in infant children.
    12     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
