A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the
2 Limeport Stadium on July 19, 2008, and extending
3 congratulations.
4 WHEREAS, Seventy-five years ago, the vision and dream of a
5 Limeport area businessman and baseball enthusiast named Howard
6 "Lefty" Fegely became a reality with the completion of Limeport
7 Stadium; and
8 WHEREAS, Baseball has been played and enjoyed in Limeport
9 Stadium throughout those 75 years; and
10 WHEREAS, On July 19, 2008, Limeport Stadium, Inc., will host
11 a day-long schedule of activities and events to commemorate and
12 celebrate the 75-year history of Limeport Stadium; therefore be
13 it
14 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
1 commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Limeport Stadium on
2 July 19, 2008, and extend congratulations.
