        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON RULES, JUNE 5, 2007

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Amending the temporary rules of the House of Representatives,
     2     providing for adjournment.

     3     RESOLVED, That the temporary rules of the House of
     4  Representatives be amended by adding a rule to read:
     5                              RULE 79
     6                         Final Adjournment
     7     Except in the case of an emergency, determined by a three-
     8  fourths vote of the members elected to the House of
     9  Representatives, or a declaration of a special session by the
    10  Governor, the time for final adjournment of the General Assembly
    11  shall be Monday, November 3, 2008. The last day for introduction
    12  of bills in the House shall be determined by the Speaker with
    13  respect to the date for adjournment.
