        INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35,
           MAY 1, 2007

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Honoring the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education of
     2     Pennsylvania (ABATE) for its continued support and
     3     participation in the Readshaw Raiders Ride to Gettysburg, and
     4     designating May 21, 2007, as "ABATE Day" in Pennsylvania.

     5     WHEREAS, The Readshaw Raiders Ride to Gettysburg is an annual
     6  fundraiser to acquire monetary donations for the Gettysburg
     7  Civil War Monuments Preservation Project; and
     8     WHEREAS, ABATE has participated in this ride and has raised
     9  more than $40,000 in donations over the past five years; and
    10     WHEREAS, In addition to this outstanding altruistic
    11  leadership, ABATE celebrates the 30th anniversary of its
    12  founding this year on May 21; therefore be it
    13     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor ABATE for
    14  its participation in the Readshaw Raiders Ride to Gettysburg and

     1  for its outstanding altruistic leadership and fundraising; and
     2  be it further
     3     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate May 21,
     4  2007, as "ABATE Day" in Pennsylvania.
