AN ACT
1 Providing for a transfer of funds from the Budget Stabilization
2 Reserve Fund to the PENNVEST Fund.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Interfund transfer.
6 Notwithstanding any provision of Article XVII-A of the act of
7 April 9, 1929 (P.L.343, No.176), known as The Fiscal Code, to
8 the contrary, within 30 days of the effective date of this
9 section, the State Treasurer shall transfer $200,000,000 from
10 the Budget Stabilization Reserve Fund to the PENNVEST Fund for
11 the purpose of providing grants to municipalities, municipal
12 authorities and private entities for wastewater, drinking water
13 and storm water infrastructure improvements or construction.
14 Section 2. Effective date.
15 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
