AN ACT
1 Providing for the use of the Forum Building in the City of
2 Harrisburg.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Forum Building.
6 (a) Use.--The use of the Forum Building, excluding the first
7 floor and space consisting of the Auditorium, the State Library
8 and the rare books vault, in the City of Harrisburg is hereby
9 granted to the House of Representatives. The Bi-partisan
10 Management Committee of the House of Representatives shall
11 allocate and reallocate the space for such legislative purposes
12 as it deems necessary.
13 (b) Allocation of space to executive branch.--The committee
14 may, upon written request of the Department of General Services,
15 allocate and reallocate any space in the Forum Building,
16 excluding the first floor and space consisting of the
17 Auditorium, the State Library and the rare books vault, used by
1 the executive branch departments prior to the effective date of
2 this section to any executive branch department as the committee
3 deems appropriate after fulfilling its duty under subsection
4 (a).
5 Section 2. Effective date.
6 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
