AN ACT
1 Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for restrictions on
3 authorities in cities of the first class.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5508.3(a)(1)(i) of Title 53 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 5508.3. Restrictions on authorities in cities of the first
9 class.
10 (a) Restricted activities, statement of financial interests;
11 public meetings and records.--
12 (1) The following apply:
13 (i) The provisions of the following statutes are
14 specifically applicable to board members, officers and
15 employees of the authority:
16 (A) The provisions of 65 Pa.C.S. Ch. 11
17 (relating to ethics standards and financial
1 disclosure).
2 (B) The act of July 19, 1957 (P.L.1017, No.451),
3 known as the State Adverse Interest Act.
4 (C) Section 905.2 of the act of August 5, 1941
5 (P.L.752, No.286), known as the Civil Service Act.

7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
