AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for sale or transfer
3 of firearms.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6111(f)(3) and (j) of Title 18 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:
8 § 6111. Sale or transfer of firearms.

10 (f) Application of section.--

12 (3) The provisions contained in subsection (a) shall not
13 apply to any [law enforcement officer whose current
14 identification as a law enforcement officer shall be
15 construed as a valid license to carry a firearm or any]
16 person who possesses a valid license to carry a firearm under
17 section 6109 (relating to licenses).

1 (j) Exemption.--The provisions of subsections (a) and (b)
2 shall not apply to:
3 (1) sales between Federal firearms licensees[.]; or
4 (2) any law enforcement officer whose current
5 identification as a law enforcement officer is construed as a
6 valid license to carry a firearm.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
