                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, defining "campus police officer"; and
     3     further defining "superannuation age."

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The definition of "superannuation age" in section
     7  5102 of Title 71 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is
     8  amended and the section is amended by adding a definition to
     9  read:
    10  § 5102.  Definitions.
    11     The following words and phrases as used in this part, unless
    12  a different meaning is plainly required by the context, shall
    13  have the following meanings:

    15     "Campus police officer."  An employee of a university within
    16  the State System of Higher Education who is commissioned and
    17  trained as a police officer according to section 2416 of the act
    18  of April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative

     1  Code of 1929.

     3     "Superannuation age."  Any age upon accrual of 35 eligibility
     4  points or age 60, except for a member of the General Assembly,
     5  an enforcement officer, a correction officer, a psychiatric
     6  security aide, a Delaware River Port Authority policeman, a
     7  campus police officer or an officer of the Pennsylvania State
     8  Police, age 50, and, except for a member with Class G, Class H,
     9  Class I, Class J, Class K, Class L, Class M or Class N service,
    10  age 55 upon accrual of 20 eligibility points.

    12     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
