                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for aggravated
     3     assault.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 2702(c) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding paragraphs to read:
     8  § 2702.  Aggravated assault.
     9     * * *
    10     (c)  Officers, employees, etc., enumerated.--The officers,
    11  agents, employees and other persons referred to in subsection
    12  (a) shall be as follows:
    13         * * *
    14         (37)  A member of the armed forces of the United States
    15     and the spouse and minor dependent children of the member.
    16         (38)  A member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and the
    17     spouse and minor dependent children of the member.

     1     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
