                            A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

     1  Designating the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield
     2     Township, Bucks County, as the Official State Memorial to the
     3     Victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

     4     WHEREAS, The Garden of Reflection currently under
     5  construction in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, will be
     6  a memorial to all victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and will
     7  be dedicated to the 17 victims from Bucks County; and
     8     WHEREAS, Located on a five-acre parcel within a 65-acre park
     9  owned by Lower Makefield Township, the memorial will list the
    10  names of all 3,000 victims of the terrorist attacks; and
    11     WHEREAS, The memorial will be controlled and maintained by
    12  the Lower Makefield Township; and
    13     WHEREAS, It is understood by Lower Makefield Township that
    14  the Commonwealth will not incur any financial obligation by this
    15  designation; therefore be it

     1     RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the House of
     2  Representatives designate the Garden of Reflection in Lower
     3  Makefield Township, Bucks County, as the Official State Memorial
     4  to the Victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
