AN ACT
1 Designating a bridge crossing the Catawissa Creek in Catawissa
2 Borough, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, as the William F.
3 Gittler, Sr. Memorial Bridge.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. William F. Gittler, Sr. Memorial Bridge.
7 (a) Designation.--The bridge carrying State Route 42 over
8 the Catawissa Creek in Catawissa Borough, Columbia County,
9 Pennsylvania, is designated and shall be known as the William F.
10 Gittler, Sr. Memorial Bridge in honor of William F. Gittler,
11 Sr., prominent citizen, leading industrialist and
12 philanthropist.
13 (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
14 maintain appropriate signs which shall display the name of the
15 bridge designated in subsection (a) at each end of the bridge.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
