AN ACT
1 Authorizing the release of Project 70 restrictions imposed on
2 certain land owned by the Department of Conservation and
3 Natural Resources, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being
4 conveyed by the Commonwealth in return for the imposition of
5 Project 70 restrictions on certain land being conveyed to the
6 Commonwealth by Skippack Township, Montgomery County.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
10 (a) Authorization.--Pursuant to the requirements of section
11 20(b) of the act of June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8),
12 known as the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act, the
13 General Assembly hereby authorizes the release of Project 70
14 restrictions on a portion of lands owned by the Commonwealth of
15 Pennsylvania and administered by the Department of Conservation
16 and Natural Resources which are more particularly described in
17 subsection (c), in return for the imposition of Project 70
18 restrictions on land to be acquired by the Commonwealth of
19 Pennsylvania from Skippack Township, Montgomery County, as
1 described in subsection (c). This release of Project 70
2 restrictions is necessary due to the realignment of and removing
3 safety hazards associated with State Route 0073 (Skippack Pike)
4 and State Route 1006 (Evansburg Road), Section 491, through
5 Skippack Township, Montgomery County.
6 (b) Freedom of restrictions.--The Department of Conservation
7 and Natural Resources is authorized to convey a portion of its
8 Evansburg State Park being one-half acre, more or less, as
9 described in subsection (c), lying adjacent to the right-of-way
10 of Evansburg Road and Old Forty Foot Road of Skippack Township
11 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Skippack Township free
12 of restrictions on use and alienation imposed by section 20 of
13 the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act upon the
14 imposition of and recording of the Project 70 deed restriction
15 set forth in subsection (f) on the parcel of replacement land
16 acquired by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from Skippack
17 Township, Montgomery County.
18 (c) Description of premise to be conveyed.--The parcel of
19 land to be released from Project 70 restrictions is situate in
20 the Skippack Township, Montgomery County, and more particularly
21 described as follows:
22 All that certain piece or parcel of land, situated in
23 Skippack Township, County of Montgomery and Commonwealth of
24 Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:

1 (g) Deed restriction.--The deed restriction to be
