                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of July 7, 2005 (P.L.   , No.1A), entitled "An
     2     act to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the
     3     Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
     4     Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for
     5     the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006, for certain
     6     institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills
     7     incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
     8     ending June 30, 2005; to provide appropriations from the
     9     State Lottery Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance
    10     Fund, the Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores
    11     Fund, the Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust
    12     Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the
    13     Tuition Payment Fund, the Banking Department Fund, the
    14     Firearm Records Check Fund, the Ben Franklin Technology
    15     Development Authority Fund, the Tobacco Settlement Fund, the
    16     Health Care Provider Retention Account and the Community
    17     Health Reinvestment Restricted Account to the Executive
    18     Department; to provide appropriations from the Judicial
    19     Computer System Augmentation Account to the Judicial
    20     Department for the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June 30,
    21     2006; to provide appropriations from the Motor License Fund
    22     for the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006, for the
    23     proper operation of the several departments of the
    24     Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania State Police authorized to
    25     spend Motor License Fund moneys; to provide for the
    26     appropriation of Federal funds to the Executive Department of
    27     the Commonwealth and for the establishment of restricted


     1     receipt accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June
     2     30, 2006, and for the payment of bills remaining unpaid at
     3     the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005; to provide
     4     for the additional appropriation of Federal and State funds
     5     from the General Fund and the Motor License Fund, for the
     6     Executive and Legislative Departments of the Commonwealth for
     7     the fiscal year July 1, 2004, to June 30, 2005, and for the
     8     payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close
     9     of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004," increasing the
    10     State appropriation to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance
    11     Agency for the Homeowner's Emergency Mortgage Assistance
    12     Program.

    13     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    14  hereby enacts as follows:
    15     Section 1.  Section 240 of the act of July 7, 2005 (P.L.   ,
    16  No.1A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 2005, is
    17  amended to read:
    18     Section 240.  Pennsylvania Housing
    19  Finance Agency.--The following amounts
    20  are appropriated to the Pennsylvania
    21  Housing Finance Agency:                    Federal       State
    22     For transfer to the Pennsylvania
    23  Housing Finance Agency for the
    24  Homeowner's Emergency Mortgage
    25  Assistance Program.

    28     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
