AN ACT
1 Designating the bridge carrying State Route 1025 over Interstate
2 79 in North Strabane Township, Washington County, as the
3 Canon-McMillan Alumni Bridge.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Canon-McMillan Alumni Bridge.
7 (a) Designation.--The bridge carrying State Route 1025 over
8 Interstate 79 in North Strabane Township, Washington County, is
9 designated and shall be known as the Canon-McMillan Alumni
10 Bridge.
11 (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
12 maintain appropriate signs which shall display the name of the
13 bridge designated in subsection (a) at each end of the bridge
14 and at the sides of the bridge so that persons traveling on
15 Interstate 79 can see the designation referred to in subsection
16 (a).
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
