                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 62 (Procurement) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, providing for contractor affidavit on employment
     3     eligibility verification.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Title 62 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     7  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     8  § 3702.  Contractor affidavit on employment eligibility
     9             verification.
    10     Each contract entered into by a government agency for
    11  services shall contain a provision requiring the contractor to
    12  file with the agency an affidavit affirming under the penalties
    13  for perjury that the contractor has in its files an employment
    14  eligibility verification form required by section 274A of the
    15  Immigration and Nationality Act (66 Stat. 163, 8 U.S.C. § 1324a)


     1  for each individual who will be employed in the performance of
     2  the contract. The contractor must file a new affidavit with the
     3  government agency any time the contractor assigns an employee
     4  who has not previously worked under the contract to work under
     5  the contract.
     6     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
