AN ACT 1 Prohibiting the use of full Social Security numbers on State 2 forms. 3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 4 hereby enacts as follows: 5 Section 1. Short title. 6 This act shall be known and may be cited as the Social 7 Security Number Prohibition Act. 8 Section 2. Use of full Social Security numbers prohibited. 9 Except as provided in section 3 and notwithstanding any other 10 law to the contrary, no person shall be required to provide more 11 than the last four digits of his Social Security number on any 12 form required by a State governmental entity. 13 Section 3. Exceptions.
1 This act shall not apply to: 2 (1) Forms required by the act of March 4, 1971 (P.L.6, 3 No.2), known as the Tax Reform Code of 1971. 4 (2) Any other form utilized in connection with the 5 collection of State taxes. 6 Section 4.
