AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 6, 1984 (P.L.614, No.127), entitled "An
2 act establishing the fees to be charged and received by
3 sheriffs," further providing for counties included within
4 act.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 2 of the act of July 6, 1984 (P.L.614,
8 No.127), known as the Sheriff Fee Act, is amended to read:
9 Section 2. Counties included.
10 In counties of the second class, second class A and third
11 through eighth class [and], except home rule counties [except]
12 and the County of Philadelphia, the fees, including commissions
13 and mileage, to be received by the sheriff from persons or
14 counties requiring services of the sheriff shall be as set forth
15 in this act.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
