AN ACT
1 Designating SR 65 in the vicinity of Leetsdale, Allegheny
2 County, as the James E. Russo Highway.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. James E. Russo Highway.
6 (a) Declaration of policy.--The General Assembly finds and
7 declares that:
8 (1) James E. Russo served as an Allegheny County
9 district justice for 29 years.
10 (2) Judge Russo was appointed Judge of the Commonwealth
11 Court of Municipal Discipline in 1998, the first nonattorney
12 to serve in that capacity.
13 (b) Designation.--State Route 65 in the vicinity of
14 Leetsdale, Allegheny County, shall be designated as the James E.
15 Russo Highway in honor of the late James E. Russo.
16 (c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
1 maintain signs which shall display the name of the highway
2 designated in subsection (b) at each end of the designated
3 segment.
4 Section 2. Effective date.
5 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
