                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for license fee exemptions.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 2707 heading of Title 30 of the
     6  Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended and the section is
     7  amended by adding a subsection to read:
     8  § 2707.  Disabled veterans and active duty members of
     9             Pennsylvania National Guard.

    11     (d)  Active duty members.--An active duty member of the
    12  Pennsylvania National Guard who shall apply for an adult
    13  resident fishing license shall be exempt from the fee provided


     1  in section 2715(a)(1) (relating to license, permit and issuing
     2  agent fees), for a period not to exceed one year after discharge
     3  from active duty. Upon proof that the member meets the
     4  qualifications of section 2701, and documentation showing the
     5  dates of active duty, the commission or county treasurer shall
     6  issue a fishing license.
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
