AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Wistar Institute, Philadelphia,
2 for AIDS research.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $46,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Wistar Institute-Research, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006, for research on acquired immune
8 deficiency syndrome. Payment of this appropriation shall be made
9 by the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The Wistar Institute shall provide full, complete
11 and accurate information as may be required by the Department of
12 Health or the chairman or the minority chairman of the
13 Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the
14 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the House
15 of Representatives.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005, or
17 immediately, whichever is later.
