        INTRODUCED BY DENT, ORIE, THOMPSON, KUKOVICH, COSTA, LAVALLE,
           MADIGAN, KITCHEN, BOSCOLA, MOWERY, SCHWARTZ, LEMMOND,
           RAFFERTY, C. WILLIAMS, WOZNIAK, KASUNIC AND WAUGH,
           FEBRUARY 4, 2003

        REFERRED TO FINANCE, FEBRUARY 4, 2003

                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing certain acts and parts of acts relating to taxation
     2     and related matters.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Repeals.
     6     The following acts and parts of acts are repealed:
     7     Section 27 of the act of June 1, 1889 (P.L.420, No.332),
     8  entitled "A further supplement to an act entitled 'An act to
     9  provide revenue by taxation,' approved the seventh day of June,
    10  Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine."
    11     The act of April 28, 1899 (P.L.72, No.66), entitled "A
    12  supplement to an act, entitled 'An act to provide revenue by
    13  taxation,' approved the seventh day of June, Anno Domini one
    14  thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, amending and extending
    15  the provisions thereof."
    16     Section 1206 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.343, No.176),
    17  known as The Fiscal Code.

     1     The act of July 16, 1935 (P.L.1041, No.347), entitled "An act
     2  authorizing the payment of certain State taxes in advance of the
     3  due date thereof, allowing a discount where such taxes are paid
     4  on or before a certain date, and conferring powers and imposing
     5  duties on the Department of Revenue and the Board of Finance and
     6  Revenue."
     7  Section 2.  Effective date.
     8     This act shall take effect immediately.
