AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for increased fines for vehicles with
3 more than two axles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 6507. Fines to be doubled.
9 The fine for any of the following violations, when committed
10 by the driver of a vehicle with more than two axles, shall be
11 double the usual amount:
12 Section 3310 (relating to following too closely).
13 Section 3361 (relating to driving vehicle at safe speed).
14 Section 3362 (relating to maximum speed limits).
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
