AN ACT
1 Exempting volunteer fire, rescue and ambulance companies from
2 all State and local taxes.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Exemption.
6 All volunteer fire, rescue and ambulance companies are exempt
7 from all State and local taxes, including, but not limited to,
8 real estate taxes, income taxes, utility taxes and any nuisance
9 taxes.
10 Section 2. Repeals.
11 All acts or parts of acts that are inconsistent with this act
12 are repealed.
13 Section 3. Effective date.
14 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
