AN ACT
1 Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing, in open meetings,
3 for executive sessions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 708(a) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 708. Executive sessions.
9 (a) Purpose.--An agency may hold an executive session for
10 one or more of the following reasons:

12 (7) To discuss or plan the specific details of security
13 measures, equipment or personnel if public discussion or
14 planning would jeopardize the integrity of the agency's
15 security system.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
