AN ACT
1 Designating a portion of State Route 405 from Clinton Township
2 to Montgomery Borough, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as the
3 Dr. Charles F. Taylor Memorial Highway; and designating a
4 bridge over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River on State
5 Route 405 between Muncy Creek Township and Clinton Township,
6 Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as the The Last Raft Memorial
7 Bridge.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. Dr. Charles F. Taylor Memorial Highway.
11 (a) Designation.--The portion of State Route 405 beginning
12 on the west side of the Susquehanna River in Clinton Township
13 and ending immediately prior to the bridge over the West Branch
14 of the Susquehanna River in Montgomery Borough, Pennsylvania, is
15 hereby designated and shall hereafter be known as the Dr.
16 Charles F. Taylor Memorial Highway.
17 (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
18 maintain appropriate signs at each end of this segment of
19 highway containing the designation Dr. Charles F. Taylor
20 Memorial Highway.
1 Section 2. The Last Raft Memorial Bridge.
2 (a) Designation.--The bridge over the West Branch of the
3 Susquehanna River on State Route 405 in Muncy Creek Township and
4 passing into Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, is
5 hereby designated and shall hereafter be known as the The Last
6 Raft Memorial Bridge.
7 (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
8 maintain appropriate signs at each end of the bridge containing
9 the designation The Last Raft Memorial Bridge.
10 Section 3. Effective date.
11 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
