                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing the act of June 3, 1915 (P.L.954, No.420), entitled
     2     "An act to protect the public health and safety: By
     3     regulating the erection, alteration, repair, use, occupancy,
     4     maintenance, sanitation, and condemnation of dwellings, two-
     5     family dwellings, rooming-houses, and tenements; by
     6     regulating the use, maintenance, and sanitation of the
     7     grounds surrounding the same, the adjoining buildings, and
     8     all vacant land, in cities of the first class; providing for
     9     their inspection, the abatement of nuisances, the vacating of
    10     uninhabitable houses, and the filing of liens; creating a
    11     Division of Housing and Sanitation; and providing penalties
    12     for violations of the provisions thereof, and repealing all
    13     laws inconsistent therewith."

    14     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    15  hereby enacts as follows:
    16     Section 1.  The act of June 3, 1915 (P.L.954, No.420),
    17  entitled "An act to protect the public health and safety: By
    18  regulating the erection, alteration, repair, use, occupancy,
    19  maintenance, sanitation, and condemnation of dwellings, two-
    20  family dwellings, rooming-houses, and tenements; by regulating
    21  the use, maintenance, and sanitation of the grounds surrounding
    22  the same, the adjoining buildings, and all vacant land, in

     1  cities of the first class; providing for their inspection, the
     2  abatement of nuisances, the vacating of uninhabitable houses,
     3  and the filing of liens; creating a Division of Housing and
     4  Sanitation; and providing penalties for violations of the
     5  provisions thereof, and repealing all laws inconsistent
     6  therewith," is repealed.
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
