AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, deleting provisions relating to lighted lamp
3 requirements for motorcycles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3526 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes, added December 9, 2002 (P.L.1278,
8 No.152), is amended to read:
9 [§ 3526. Lighted lamp requirements for motorcycles.
10 Notwithstanding the provisions of section 4302 (relating to
11 periods for requiring lighted lamps), the operator of a
12 motorcycle, manufactured during or after 1973, upon a highway
13 shall display the lighted head lamps and other lamps and
14 illuminating devices required under Chapter 43 (relating to
15 lighting equipment) at all times.]
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
