AN ACT
1 Authorizing and directing the Governor to appoint a site
2 selection committee to locate a site suitable for the
3 placement of a State veterans home in central Pennsylvania.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Site selection committee.
7 (a) Appointment.--The Governor is hereby authorized and
8 directed to appoint a site selection committee to locate a site
9 suitable for the placement of a State veterans home.
10 (b) Membership.--The site selection committee shall be
11 composed of at least three persons but not more than five
12 persons who are residents of central Pennsylvania.
13 (c) Report.--The site selection committee shall locate at
14 least one site suitable for the placement of a State veterans
15 home and shall issue a report outlining the pertinent
16 considerations to the Governor no later than 90 days after the
1 committee was appointed.
2 Section 2. Effective date.
3 This act shall take effect immediately.
