AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for general requirements for
3 school buses.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4552(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 4552. General requirements for school buses.
9 (a) Color and identification.--Every school bus shall be of
10 a uniform color scheme and labeled "School Bus" on both front
11 and rear as provided by regulation. Exterior identification
12 markings on the front, rear and top of a school bus are
13 permissible provided that they do not obscure the "School Bus"
14 labels. Exterior labels and markings other than those
15 specifically required or permitted by law or regulation shall be
16 prohibited. This subsection shall not be construed to prohibit
17 the affixation of exterior labels or stickers of a temporary
1 nature which have been approved by the school district as having
2 educational value and which do not obscure the "School Bus"
3 labels.
