AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further defining "superannuation age."
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The definition of "superannuation age" in section
6 5102 of Title 71 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is
7 amended to read:
8 § 5102. Definitions.
9 The following words and phrases as used in this part, unless
10 a different meaning is plainly required by the context, shall
1 have the following meanings:

3 "Superannuation age." Any age upon accrual of 35 eligibility
4 points or age 60, except for THE FOLLOWING: <--
5 (1) a member of the General Assembly, an enforcement
6 officer, a correction officer, a psychiatric security aide, a
7 Delaware River Port Authority policeman or an officer of the
8 Pennsylvania State Police, age 50; or a district justice upon <--
9 accrual of 24 eligibility points and age 50, and, except for
10 a member with Class G, Class H, Class I, Class J,[, AND, <--
11 EXCEPT FOR]
12 (2) A MEMBER WITH CLASS G, CLASS H, CLASS I, CLASS J,
13 Class K, Class L, Class M or Class N service, age 55 upon
14 accrual of 20 eligibility points[.]; AND <--
15 (3) A DISTRICT JUSTICE, UPON ACCRUAL OF 24 ELIGIBILITY
16 POINTS AND AGE 50, OR ACCRUAL OF 35 ELIGIBILITY POINTS OR AGE
17 60.

19 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
