AN ACT
1 Amending Title 27 (Environmental Resources) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further defining "waste transportation
3 vehicle" relating to waste transportation safety.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The definition of "waste transportation vehicle"
7 in section 6202 of Title 27 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes is amended to read:
9 § 6202. Definitions.
10 The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
11 shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
12 context clearly indicates otherwise:

14 "Waste transportation vehicle." Public and private motor
15 carrier vehicles and waste trailers, as defined in this chapter,
16 [regularly used in] the primary use of which is transporting
17 municipal or residual waste to a processing or disposal facility
18 in this Commonwealth. The term does not include vehicles
1 currently registered by the department pursuant to 25 Pa. Code §
2 285.225 (relating to transportation of residential septage) or
3 consumer product delivery trucks.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
