AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203), entitled
2 "An act establishing certain township roads as State
3 highways; authorizing their construction, maintenance, and
4 improvement under certain conditions and restrictions;
5 limiting the obligation of the Commonwealth in the
6 construction of certain structures located on such highways;
7 conferring certain powers upon the Department of Highways and
8 local authorities, persons, associations and corporations for
9 sharing the cost of the maintenance and construction of such
10 highways; and making an appropriation to carry out the
11 provisions of said act," adding Colebrook Road, East Donegal
12 Township, Lancaster County to the State highway system.
13 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
14 hereby enacts as follows:
15 Section 1. The act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203),
16 referred to as the Township State Highway Law, is amended by
17 adding the following route:
18 Section 37. The township roads to be taken over, under the
19 provisions of this act, in the COUNTY OF LANCASTER, are those
20 situate and described as follows:

22 Route 36179. Beginning at Mt. Joy Pike, State Route 772,
1 Station 52+44 (formerly Legislative Route 36004) heading in a 2 northerly direction to State Route 4002 (Donegal Springs Road) 3 Station 183+99 (formerly Legislative Route 36004) a distance of 4 13,155 feet or 2.491 miles. 5 Section 2. If East Donegal Township accepts the turnback of 6 Donegal Springs Road (State Route 4002) from a beginning point 7 at State Route 0743, Segment 0050 offset 0000 (Station 143+89) 8 to Colebrook Road, Segment 0080 offset 1618 (Station 241+50) for 9 a distance of 9,759 feet or 1.848 miles, having an existing 10 right-of-way width of 33 feet, then the Department of 11 Transportation shall transmit notice of the acceptance to the 12 Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Pennsylvania 13 Bulletin. 14 Section 3. This act shall take effect as follows: 15 (1) The amendment of Section 37 of the act shall take 16 effect upon publication of the notice pursuant to section 2. 17 (2) The remainder of this act shall take effect 18 immediately.
