AN ACT
1 Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, requiring identification credentials
3 of coordinators of emergency management.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 7502 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 7502. Local coordinator of emergency management.

10 (h) Identification credentials.--Each appointed coordinator
11 shall display identification credentials while in the
12 performance of his duties under this chapter. The county
13 coordinator shall be responsible for providing the State
14 Director of Emergency Management with qualified local
15 coordinators' personal information. The State Director of
16 Emergency Management shall be responsible for designing and
1 providing each local coordinator of emergency management and
2 county coordinator with identification credentials. At the
3 option of the State Director of Emergency Management, the
4 Department of Transportation photo licenses may be used as
5 official identification. The identification shall be valid for
6 not more than five years.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
