                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for executive
     3     sessions.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 708(a) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
     8  § 708.  Executive sessions.
     9     (a)  Purpose.--An agency may hold an executive session for
    10  one or more of the following reasons:
    11         * * *
    12         (7)  For deliberations by zoning hearing boards created
    13     pursuant to the act of July 31, 1968 (P.L.805, No.247), known
    14     as the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.

    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
