A RESOLUTION 1 Recognizing December 4, 2001, as "National Day of 2 Reconciliation" in Pennsylvania. 3 WHEREAS, The United States House of Representatives and the 4 United States Senate have approved a concurrent resolution 5 providing for a "National Day of Reconciliation"; and 6 WHEREAS, On December 4, 2001, members of the Congress of the 7 United States will pause in the Rotunda of our Nation's Capitol 8 to seek God's blessings in prayers for forgiveness, 9 reconciliation, unity and charity for all people of the United 10 States; and 11 WHEREAS, The gathering of members of Congress on this 12 "National Day of Reconciliation" will assist the nation to 13 realize its potential as the champion of hope, the vindicator of 14 the defenseless and the guardian of freedom; therefore be it 15 RESOLVED, That the Senate recognize December 4, 2001, as 16 "National Day of Reconciliation" in Pennsylvania; and be it 17 further
1 RESOLVED, That members of the Senate be encouraged to 2 assemble during the day of December 4, 2001, to humbly seek the 3 blessings of Providence for forgiveness, reconciliation, unity 4 and charity for all people of the United States; and be it 5 further 6 RESOLVED, That members of the House of Representatives, State 7 employees and the public be encouraged to participate in this 8 gathering.
