A RESOLUTION
1 Designating February 8, 2002, as "Alpha Community Ambulance
2 Service Day" in Pennsylvania.
3 WHEREAS, Alpha Community Ambulance Service, located in State
4 College, Centre County, plays a vital role in the community by
5 providing outstanding emergency services whenever necessary; and
6 WHEREAS, Alpha Community Ambulance Service has added vehicles
7 and staff to support the community's increasing need and has
8 outgrown the existing building; and
9 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania State University is taking a
10 leadership role in Alpha Community Ambulance Service's campaign
11 for new headquarters by providing land in State College near
12 Porter Road and East College Avenue that will serve as a
13 construction site for the headquarters; therefore be it
14 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate
15 February 8, 2002, as "Alpha Community Ambulance Service Day" in
16 Pennsylvania.
