A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1 Memorializing the United States Postal Service to issue a Coal 2 Miners' Postal Stamp. 3 WHEREAS, Our entire Nation owes our coal miners a great deal 4 more than we could ever repay them for the difficult and 5 dangerous job which they performed so that we could have the 6 fuel we needed to operate our industries and to heat our homes; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, It would be proper and fitting for our Nation to 9 recognize our coal miners, both past and present, for their 10 contributions to this Nation; therefore be it 11 RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly 12 memorialize the United States Postal Service to issue a postal
1 stamp to honor our coal miners and to commemorate their 2 contributions to our Nation and its citizens; and be it further 3 RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be delivered to the 4 United States Postal Service, to the presiding officers of each 5 house of Congress and to each member of Congress from 6 Pennsylvania.
